Easter egg hunts will be held this Saturday in McKinleyville and Trinidad.
The McKinleyville Shopping Center will hold its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at 10 a.m.
Children are invited to visit the McKinleyville Shopping Center for a safe and entertaining egg hunt experience. There are five different egg hunt areas, There are four areas set up for children of different ages (Birth to 3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10+) and there is also an area for children with special needs.
This free community event is open to all children, and there will be lots of free candy and prizes. Special eggs have certificates for prizes and Easter baskets. You will also have a chance to meet and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny!
Children should meet by the small kiosk in the parking lot at the Shopping Center before 10 a.m. to join in the fun, as the hunts starts at 10 a.m. for all participants. For more information about the Easter Egg Hunt, contact Taffy Stockton at (707) 834-6460.
The Trinidad Lions Club is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at noon in the field behind Murphy’s Market. There will be four separate areas for children: infant to 3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10 and up. Hidden will be 720 boiled and colored eggs as well as 700 plastic eggs filled with either a quarter or candy.
Each area has one prize egg with a $5 bill inside. The Trinidad Lions Club has been involved with this local event for over 20 years.
