On May 29, the Mighty McKinleyville Press will print its 17th annual Pony Express Days edition. This is a preview edition for the town’s annual festival – a tradition since 1968.
We’ll have stories about all the coming events, as well a history of Pony Express Days. (We’ll answer the question that comes up every year: Why is the town festival named after the Pony Express mail service, which never even came through Humboldt? There’s a very logical answer to that question, and the name of the festival makes perfect sense when you know it.)
Now is the time to book an ad for this edition. The deadline is Friday, May 24.
